The Helford River Children's Sailing Trust has received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
This Award, announced by Her Majesty The Queen to mark the occasion of Her Golden Jubilee, recognises excellence in voluntary activities carried out by groups in communities.
Cornwall's Lord-Lieutenant, Lady Mary Holborow, presented the Queen's Award on behalf of Her Majesty at the Inter-schools Regatta on Saturday 22nd of July 2006.
This honour recognises the hard work of every one of our volunteers - the "Unsung Heroes" that this award celebrates. Congratulations and thanks to you all for this great achievement.
