Local Hazards

There are all sorts of hazards that we need to be aware of when we are sailing. Some are man-made, and some are natural hazards.

Learning to tie knots correctly is an essential skill useful not only in sailing, but in many many other situations you may find yourself in.

The key qualities of a good knot are: Neat and Tidy, Secure, and very importantly, able to be untied!
