Big Sale: Saturday 28 March 10am-1pm
There will be a number of second-hand dinghies available to purchase at HRCST’s boat sale on Saturday 28 March 10am-1pm at the Helford Passage Car Park, including Optimists, Picos and Teras complete with rigging and kayaks. All boats sold are in a used condition but have had safety checks. Launch trolleys are available with some but not all the boats. In addition to this we’ll be offering a number of small items such as spars, masts and rope.
If you have good quality dinghy or chandlery items that you would like to donate to help fundraise for HRCST, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01326 702326.
The schools we work with
During the ‘onshore’ months we take the opportunity to visit local schools and find out what children most enjoy about learning to sail with the Trust. We’ve had some brilliant responses from the young people we teach, like Felix and Chloe from Boskenwyn Primary School:
“I prefer being on my own in a boat. It’s way more fun. If I make a mistake it’s just my fault.” Felix
“(When you’re sailing) you feel more outgoing. You’re free. You can make decisions for yourself.” Chloe
